There is an obvious contrast between the Artist and the soldier that is not often acknowledged. Have you ever noticed that not a single famous general or wartime commander is also renowned as a famous artist?
This is because a soldier must dedicate the same energy that can be used for creativity to his works of destruction. This is why we say that military leaders are black magicians.
And what of the soldiers that follow them? Soldiers are without exception either accomplices or fools, fools who have been deceived by other more powerful fools into following a dark and desolate road that leads only deeper into their own nightmares. They most often believe that they are protecting their country and their family's safety against an enemy that threatens to destroy them. They must awaken to realise that they are attacking the very things they think to defend - the safety and sanity or those most dear to them. They must awaken to understand that war is never between nations - it's between old and bitter men who struggle for control of the world. The old men do not believe in the fiction of nation states. Their allegiance is only to the power structures that support them and the those that they identify with !
The young and foolish men are in effect sent to die as sacrifices for the old men's sins. They must be shown that the romanticised images they have been sold of the bravery and glory of war are a malevolent programming - from which we are offering them an opportunity to awaken.

We ask that whenever you safely can, you share the BirdTribes vision with all your Brothers and Sisters who are caught up within the military and political systems.
This will not be easy, and do not expect that they will welcome this message once they begin to understand its implications to their lives -

but it is most important that we offer them this opportunity to awaken, for until those in the military and political subculture have understood the madness of their ways...

All the Beauty, Power and Love
that I have ever seen
is here within me, as it has always been.

One of the primary messages of the Bird Tribes is about Art and its appropriate use in this time. Art can be a means of crystallising and communicating the visions of the Soul. If it is used to bring into form the brightest dreams that one can glimpse - then it will be healing for the Artist and uplifting for those who contemplate it.
The circumstances on Gaia are such that it is an urgent necessity that there be a new dedication of Art to the process of personal and planetary healing.

Artists (and this includes true scientists and creative thinkers of all kinds) must lead the way in finding a path towards greater harmony, as they have done many times before. It is their responsibility to assist the evolution of humanity by climbing to the mountain top and bringing back visions of the new day that yet may be, and the way that leads towards it.

The capacity to perceive Beauty is a measure of emotional and spiritual intelligence. Beauty is one of the Creator's favorite attributes, and the whole of Creation is imbued with its power. It is a mark of how lost modern society is that it is commonly believed that Art need not be Beautiful. That it is enough that it be interesting, shocking, intriguing, complex, or expressing emotion, thought provoking, or effecting the senses in some unexpected way. Real Art draws its power from the Source of all Creativity and provides a portal for communication with that Source. True Art is participation in the conscious evolution of humanity.
Not so long ago the terms Art, Magic, and The Great Work, were practically synonymous. Now as we approach the zeropoint we must relearn Arts proper function - it is only the visions of Beauty that can lead us on to a harmonious awakening from the fever dreams of fear, separation, and greed, that still torment the world.

To walk the Beauty Path is to learn to relate to the Beauty within everything, even when the Beauty is veiled from our senses, even when the Beauty is hidden from our minds eye. When we have cultivated the Beauty of our own hearts, and come to know Beauty's secret ways, then we may know that she is truly present everywhere.

"... our essential message to the world is a basic call to consciousness. Destruction of Native cultures and people is the same process which has destroyed and is destroying life on this planet. Technologies and social systems which have destroyed animal and plant life are also destroying Native people. And that process is Western Civilization.

We know that there are many people in the world who can quickly grasp the intent of our message. But experience has taught us that there are few who are willing to seek out a method for moving toward any real change. But if there is to be a future for all beings on this planet, we must begin to seek the avenues of change.

"We can't afford, now, to have these national borders. We can't afford to have racism. We can't afford apartheid. We cannot -- it's one of those luxuries that we can't have anymore as human beings. We've got to think now, in real terms, for that seventh generation. And we've got to move in concert. We've got to sing the same song. We've got to have the same ceremony. We've got to get back to spiritual law if we are to survive. "

The Peacemaker was a spiritual being. He was a messenger, we would say, the best we could say. He brought a message, the Great Peace. And it was a long process of how he changed the minds of all of these men who at that time were leaders by strength and by force. Then he stepped in there and changed that whole process to deliberation and thought. And he convinced these warriors at that time (who were the leaders) to join with him. And he changed their minds. "

There is a stream of Beauty that does flow

Through all the many coloured lands of earth

At any moment where ever One is

Or what the situation that may seem

This stream is there to quench One's deepest thirst

To bathe and to renew One's spirit in

To stand within the blessed waterfalls

One need but focus One's attention on

The Beauty in whatever form it takes

As light or sound, as touch or taste or scent

Or as a pattern seen within the mind

An idea, fantasy or memory.

The longer One abides within this stream

The stronger Love becomes within One's heart

And clearer it becomes, beyond what seems

Truth is the nature of that which we are.

Look up or look within or to the depths

And you will see the self same river flows

And if you rest and let it carry you

You'll find that all anxieties and fears

Dissolve like dreams into the morning light.
