It has been a long journey I am sure, but you are here now at last. My
name is FireBird, Sundaram Firebird -
and this is a Temple of the Messengers, the Angelos, the Bird Tribes...
I am the builder of this cybertemple, and I claim full responsibility for any
flaws in its creation,
and none whatsoever for the divine treasures that you may find within.
I am but a foolish Magician, or a magical Fool, who knows not what he knows
or does not know.
Only that it is my work to bring whirreds through whorls of this whirled
and so share with you the flaming jewels that I have gathered in my journeys.
This temple is
dedicated to the development of a new spiritual artform.
We have in the personal computer an instrument for playing with light and sound, colour, gelmetry,
symb[ls, patterns in time, frequencies of energy, words... in ways that have
not been possible until now.
This is a rapidly evolving medium and I have as yet had only brief glimpses
of what is to come -
and most of those glimpses I doubt the reality of most of the time.
It is my experience that part of what is happening is that
we are learning
to understand and even to speak... the 'Language of the Angels',
also known traditionally as the 'Language of the Birds' or 'the Green Language',
a language made of living geometries of electromagnetic energy.
Please do not presume though that you know which of all the many possible meanings I intend by the word 'Angel'.
(I have only the faintest glimmerings of an understanding myself).
It is certainly not my purpose to strengthen anyone's attachment to thoughts about what
is or is not 'Real' or 'True'.
Rather I would wish that through your use of this imagery and information, you
may awaken to deeper experience of yourself,
a more profound insight into the nature of timespace, personal
identity, 'mind' and 'belief'.
It is my hope that if you explore this temple thoroughly you will discover meanings
that are right for you.
